A total wipeout challenge is coming to Castle Quarter in Norwich this February half term, offering free entertainment for energetic teens and children of all ages.
Those daring to take on the wipeout challenge will need to jump, dart, dodge and duck as they avoid getting knocked off the platform by a giant spinning arm, doing all they can to stay on their feet for as long as possible.
“TV shows like Gladiators have made challenges like this really popular”
The giggle-inducing platform will be at Castle Quarter, Norwich’s leading social, leisure and lifestyle destination, for one day only on Thursday 20th February from 11am until 4pm. And is free to take part.
Gemma Hyde, marketing and administration manager at Castle Quarter says: “TV shows like Gladiators have made challenges like this really popular, and we’re excited to see our customers take on the wipeout challenge. Visit us on the 20th February to burn off some excess energy and do everything you can to avoid crashing out. Whether you’re as fit as a Gladiator or a complete beginner, you’ll have fun trying to stay upright and on your feet.
“We’re predicting lots of laughter inside Castle Quarter as children and teens get set to take part, as well as Mums and Dads who are up for the challenge too.”
“We want to give everyone extra add-on things to do when they visit us”
Rob Bradley, centre manager says the wipeout challenge is Castle Quarter’s first free event of 2025, with lots more to come this year.
“We’re always on the look-out for new ways to bring different, fun experiences and activities to Castle Quarter, and importantly, we always want to make these free. We really appreciate our loyal visitors and want to give everyone extra add-on things to do when they visit us. Our events always raise lots of smiles, and this latest wipeout challenge will have people falling about with laughter – literally!”
Castle Quarter hosts free, family-friendly activities during every school holiday. Follow the centre on social media or visit www.castlequarternorwich.co.uk to find out what’s coming up.
The Wipeout Challenge will be located in White Lion Square, outside Boots on the Lower Ground Floor, from 11am until 4pm on Thursday 20th February.
