Construction of the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge in Colney was completed earlier this year, and has welcomed its first patients.
Home to a state-of-the-art palliative care unit, each inpatient room has access to a private garden. Communal areas include lounges, a chapel and central courtyard. The café will offer celebration cakes, afternoon teas and Sunday roasts to the general public.
