Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities are invited to take part in this year’s Norwich 100, a scenic summer ride celebrating its 28th anniversary. With three exciting new routes to choose from, there’s a challenge to suit everyone, from casual riders to seasoned cyclists.
Starting at Norwich City Hall, these rides take you through perfect cycling country, with quiet roads and picturesque villages. The routes take in the edge of the Broads, Horsey Mill, the coast (and some hills!), Felbrigg Hall at lunchtime then back past Blickling Hall – the medium option returns after the coast at Walcott, and the short after Ranworth.
Riders are looked after with signed routes, marshals, cycle mechanics, pick-up vehicles, medics and refreshment stops.
All routes join for music, beer tent, food and a Finisher’s Medal at the Finish in Chapelfield Gardens in Norwich.
There will be refreshment stops indicated at regular intervals throughout the routes and Bike Events provide full back-up including route signing, GPX mapping, marshals, mechanics, medics and pick-up.
Choose to take part and fundraise for your favourite charity. This is an open event with several supporting charities including local charities Big C Cancer Charity, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Sue Lambert Trust, Star Throwers and British Heart Foundation.
