Following the overwhelming success of last year’s event, the highly anticipated Africa By Night experience is back—bigger and better than ever!

Due to soaring demand, this unique after-hours adventure will now take place across two spectacular nights on Friday, 30th May, and Saturday, 31st May 2025, during the May half-term.

For just £15 per adult and £10 per child, visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore the zoo after dark, encountering extraordinary wildlife while enjoying an evening filled with live entertainment, delicious street food, and thrilling attractions.

Visitors can expect jaw-dropping stilt walkers, live performances from The African Choir and Pan Afro Band, exhilarating funfair rides, and dazzling dance displays. A selection of gourmet food trucks will also be on hand, serving everything from traditional hog roasts and wood-fired pizzas to indulgent desserts.

Africa By Night offers a rare chance to witness some of the world’s most endangered species as the sun sets. Guests can observe majestic giraffes, rhinos, and lions winding down for the evening, while enjoying exclusive keeper talks and enrichment demonstrations that provide fascinating insights into the animals’ nocturnal behaviours.
